Two continents.
One commitment to quality.

We manufacture on two continents to give Digital Climbing customers efficient logistics and local service. For North America, we work with Absolute Climbing in Colorado, USA. For Europe, our manufacturing partner is Walltopia.

Both partners share our commitment to quality, innovation and durable climbing products. You can order in US dollars ($) or euros (€).

North American production

Absolute Climbing · Colorado, USA

Our North American partner combines craftsmanship with an engineered approach to thermoformed macros. Its technology focuses on lighter shells, cleaner shapes and attachment systems designed for repeated route setting.

Thermoformed shells

A high-efficiency vacuum thermoforming process turns 95% recycled ABS plastic into lightweight, impact-resistant shells. The process produces little waste while delivering strong, durable holds.

Lightweight by design

These macros are typically less than half the weight of fiberglass holds. They are easier to carry, install and adjust, particularly on high walls or when working with large shapes. Lower weight also helps reduce setter fatigue and shipping costs.

Flangeless design

An angled insert system allows screw points to sit along the edge of the hold without a bulky flange. This gives shapers more freedom, lets setters place holds closer together and reduces material use.

Patent-pending angled inserts

Precision-angled metal inserts help screws enter the wall close to vertical, even when the hold surface is sloped. The system is designed for a flush, secure attachment while reducing awkward screw angles and wall damage.

Rear support spacers

Reinforced posts on the back of the hold bear against the wall. They support the shell around the attachment system and help prevent flexing or deformation when the hold is fixed in place.

Repairable and retexturable

Thermoformed ABS holds can be repaired, recoated and retextured after years of use. Their impact resistance helps limit cracking and chipping. Replaceable inserts also allow worn or damaged attachment points to be renewed instead of discarding the whole hold.

Walltopia

Our European manufacturing partner brings decades of climbing-industry experience to the production of thermoplastic holds and macros. Its approach combines material innovation with the grip, durability and low weight that route setters need.

Walltopia Thermoplastic (TP) is made from recycled plastic and is itself recyclable. The material can be reshaped or melted down and used again, giving gyms an alternative to simply replacing and discarding worn volumes.

Less weight to move

Lightweight volumes make handling and positioning easier, from the last move of a boulder problem to placements high on a rope wall. As an example, a Walltopia TP volume measuring 90 × 65 × 25 cm (35 × 25 × 10 in) weighs about 2 kg. Weight varies with the product.

Grip and visual freedom

The material offers grip comparable to conventional climbing holds and volumes. Dual texture works particularly well with TP, giving route setters another way to guide movement and create a distinctive visual feature on the wall.

A material designed for reuse

Gyms refresh holds and volumes regularly to keep routes varied and engaging. Thermoplastic can be reused, reshaped or recycled into other products, helping extend the material’s useful life as collections evolve.

Walltopia describes its TP production as having no toxic emissions and being free of isocyanates and polyols. These are characteristics of the manufacturing process described by Walltopia.

Production and delivery

Walltopia’s TP process supports relatively fast production, while low product weight can reduce shipping costs.

Lead times are estimated for each order. Factory workload, the products ordered and the shipping destination all affect the schedule. Contact us to discuss production and delivery for your project.

More life in every shape.

Recycled materials, durable shells and options to repair, retexture or recycle give climbing facilities more ways to manage their holds over time. Our manufacturing choices support creative route setting while helping reduce replacement waste.
